Jacketed filter

Structure and Principle

The jacketed filter is mainly composed of a nozzle, cylinder, filter basket, flange, flange cover, and fasteners. Installed in pipelines, it can remove larger solid impurities from fluids, ensuring that machinery and equipment (including compressors, pumps, etc.) and instruments operate normally and smoothly, thereby stabilizing the process and ensuring safe production.

Working Principle

When liquid enters the filter basket through the cylinder, solid impurity particles are trapped inside the basket, while clean fluid passes through the basket and is discharged from the filter outlet. When cleaning is required, simply unscrew the plug at the bottom of the main pipe, drain the fluid, remove the flange cover, clean, and reassemble. Therefore, it is extremely convenient to use and maintain.

Scope of Application

The filters produced by our company feature compact structure, high filtration capacity, low pressure loss, wide applicability, easy maintenance, and low cost. They are mainly suitable for the following materials:
1. Weakly corrosive materials in chemical and petrochemical production, such as water, oil, ammonia, hydrocarbons, etc.
2. Corrosive materials in chemical production, such as caustic soda, soda ash, concentrated and dilute sulfuric acid, carbonic acid, aldehyde acid, etc.
3. Low-temperature materials in refrigeration, such as liquid methane, liquid ammonia, liquid oxygen, and various refrigerants.
